I have been seriously MIA for nearly 6 months! I cannot believe how time flies! My goodness, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, A New Year began, Valentines Day, Presidents Day...all gone!!! I am completely out of the habit of posting...hoping that will change.
What better way than to start with a menu for the week! This Christmas, I put together a cookbook for my family and friends with mine and my families' favorite, tried and true recipes. The cookbook also contains well-loved recipes from friends and neighbors. It originally began as a tribute and gift to my mother, but blossomed into something much larger. So far, I've printed 90 cookbooks and they are all gone!! But, I'm getting ready for another print run (which I'm adding a few more recipes to)...so if anyone's interested, let me know, and you can purchase one from me. I guarantee you will love it and you'll use it for nearly every meal! All of these recipes are in the cookbook (there are over 200 recipes in the book)

I am SHOCKED to see your blog updated. I clicked on it thinking you for sure didn't update, and had to do a double take when I saw a new heading!! :) Just so you know, I seriously love that cook book. I use it ALL the time. And that chicken a la fuente IS good. Play around with the measurements. You might like it spicier or cheesier or whatever!! :)
You have no idea how much you have been missed! I was worried for a while than I heard you were doing a big cookbook and it all made sense.

Wow! An Author!!! Congrats to you! Any of your mother's recipes in there? I have lots of her recipes that I still make. This sounds like a great cookbook, I know you are an amazing cook. My kids just love your "Dippy Stuff"! I never did know the name if that recipe so I just told them that Jill made an amazing dip and it has been know ever since as Dippy stuff.
